My experience with Student Works and the UK
The time in which I attended the school "English 2000", was unfortunately not such a big help, since it was only for a week. However, the people and teachers were very friendly. Also, I think it's good that the teachers were always ready to answer the students' questions, even if they were already discussed.
I came to England because I wanted to improve my English. Because I have to do an internship from my school, I took the chance. Also, due to my age (16), I was not really able to get anywhere else, but this is not a problem. Another reason I chose England is that since I was little, the English language and culture have been very fascinating found. Through this internship, I finally got a chance to get to know everything better personally.
During my stay in England I stayed in a host family. Personally, I find this possibility very pleasant, because you can be sure that there will always be someone with whom you can approach, should you have a problem. Also, I would not have been alone in an emergency, such as a fire or the like, as would have been the case in a shared apartment. Although the host family is relatively far away, I am still very satisfied. The food, which my guest mother cooked every night, was delicious. The people I lived with were very friendly and open with me, so I felt safe and welcome.
I liked the internship a lot, even though after a while I had little to do due to finishing my tasks so fast. The colleagues are very friendly and express themselves understandably when I ask them for help or an explanation. This internship has also brought me something for my school career, because I specialise in Germany in a professional college, who specialises in economics. As a result, I already had some previous knowledge that helped me a lot. If I had the opportunity to do another internship abroad, I would probably go back to England, maybe Bournemouth again.
