You can do these alongside an English language course or a degree or any other course if you want for some programs it is mandatory others it is an option to add if wanted.

Program fees are to be paid once only at £/€450. Internships / Volunteer positions may offer pay, expenses or a stipend but this is decided by the business and not by Student Works.

Paid work programs do not come with accommodation and you must meet the criteria to work in that country in order to get the job, so please talk to us if you are not sure.

1. Academic Internship

An internship opportunity within the educational sector. Our client is offering an Academic internship working under the direction of the Director of Studies or assigned evaluator. Tasks will involve assisting with various academic and administrative tasks that are vital to ensure the daily smooth operation of the school.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in morning level-testing

  • Assist in checking academic record-keeping

  • Participate in lesson peer-observations

  • Attend teacher meetings

  • Keep a record of academic supplies and restock when necessary

  • Work under experienced teachers who act as your mentor

3. Marketing and Administration Assistant

The work experience we can offer is office based and  is mainly in :

Marketing: maintaining and up loading social media and website content, photography and filming of the completed and current projects and works, arranging networking events. Sending out regular circulars to mailing lists.  

 

Administration: recording and filing  time sheets and outputs  and then comparing  productivity and cost of operations on projects against budgeted. General office duties.  

 

Our team consists of 25 members of which 10 are office based and the remainder are either in the factory or on job sites.

6. Junior Group Leader Internship

We are offering you the opportunity to attend a group leader internship, which will help you to practice your customer service and child-care skills, whilst attending varied and enjoyable activities all over the island. This is the ideal internship for university students attending child-care or pedagogy courses. This role is available throughout the summer months, with a minimum stay of 2 months.

Responsibilities

  • Basic administrative duties related to the welfare and organization of groups

  • Supervising and communicating with minors on cultural and leisure activities in order to ensure safety and fun

  • Preparing venues for activities and ensuring that relevant props and stocks are present at all times

  • Responding to minor emergencies and answering emergency phone calls

Requirements

  • Candidates must be a minimum of B2 level English, fluency in additional languages will be considered an asset

7. Office Administration Internship

  • Working with the registrar team to make sure that all paperwork is filed and kept up to date

  • Assisting registrars in the cross-checking of student information

  • Preparing welcome packs for students staying in accommodation

  • Preparing student packs for the weekly student intake

  • Providing administrative assistance to Academic Managers during Annex operations

8. Adult Welfare Internship

We are  announcing an exciting new internship opportunity in the adult welfare sector within the education industry. We are currently seeking a responsible and highly driven individual to be responsible for the individual welfare needs of students while assisting the Operations Manager directly in carrying out a series of tasks as listed below (but not limited to) the arrival, duration and departure of the students, liaising with welfare officers, residence supervisors, activity leaders, interns, welcoming students and seeing to their well-being during class time, activities and in student residences.

  • Leisure Programme

    • Promoting and selling of leisure activities

    • Helping with the organization of the leisure programme

    • Creating new promotional material

9. Graphic Design Internship

An exciting new internship with a forward-thinking business in consumer retail.  The graphic design intern needs to have a creative eye to develop custom graphics as well as an ability to handle feedback while having the opportunity to practice and perfect their design skills. This position is available for a duration of 3-6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects that spread across digital and print assets, packaging and point of purchase

We have various digital marketing positions available. This is an ideal position if you have just graduated from any marketing related course. We are looking for digital marketing interns to develop, produce, implement and optimise content across various digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish unique articles and content

  • Plan and execute volumetric and semantic keyword research of key content
